H.E.A.T (Hostile Environment Awareness Training)

Sphere Protection Services devised a specialist course for individuals who may travel to other countries. Our team has an extensive understanding in regards to over seas travel and the risks that can be associated with this whether traveling for business or pleasure, having an understanding of how to avoid hostile situations or how to manage them should you find yourself in one whilst abroad.

 Below is a basic overview of our HEAT course.

 Travel safety for corporate, NGO's, leisure, gap year, school courses and urban security. Our heat training also covers safety and awareness for female   travelers, risk associated with business travel, travel risk management, protecting personal and company assets while travelling, procedures for emergency   or medical evacuation, avoiding trouble spots and avoiding common health hazards.

Close Protection Training

Our BTEC Level 3 course in Close Protection is for anyone looking to go into a protection profession. We provide a comprehensive package of skills, delivered in a diverse range of environments and in a number of fast moving, challenging and realistic scenarios. Upon successful completion of our course you will be in a position to apply for a SIA Close Protection licence.

You will learn a wide range of skills, including threat assessments, surveillance, team work, personal defence, vehicle techniques, IED awareness, communications plus much more.

This intensive and demanding course allows you to access the skills and expertise we have acquired from decades of operational experience in UK Special Forces, Specialist Police Units and the Intelligence Services. Our course exceeds industry requirements including advanced driving for security and introduce additional elements to prepare you for Close Protecion deployments, which include:  talks from people who have been held hostage and opportunities to talk with experienced operatives from our own Close Protection teams.

Edged Weapons Awareness Course.

 
Knife crime has risen to record levels over the past year with reports of knife crime a daily occurrence all over the UK. Victims of attacks with edged weapons are commonly becoming more random and may not always be by someone known to you.

Sentences for carrying knives have been increased which is great news however this is not a deterrent to those who carry them. Removing knives from our streets is also another positive however it is sadly a futile attempt at stopping knife crime entirely.

Personal Safety Courses

Close Protection Operatives will at some stage in their career will have to utilise their combat attributes. Sphere Defensive Tactics as a part of our unique Sphere Combat system covers every aspect of physical assault which may occur during their provision of close protection services.

Sphere Defensive Tactics for CP will take your existing combat skills and enhance them or will provide you with a totally new skill set.

 All of our training courses utilise realistic scenarios and hostile situations.

Our founder/chief instructor Peter teaches Sphere Combat to Elite Special Forces, Specialist Police Units from several countries he also teaches Sphere Combat on behalf of several CP training providers.               

Sphere Combat is not martial arts training, sport fighting or typical military combat system, all of the operatives mentioned above have to train in the best tactics and skills that will allow them to survive, Sphere Combat is utilised to achieve this state.
